Nuvale Vegetarian Foods launched a new snack in November 2008 called Chunkies.

Chunkies are described as a 'jerky-style' soya snack. Beef jerkies, which have long been popular in the USA, along with products like 'biltong' from South Africa, have been appearing in shops and supermarkets the UK over the last few years. Chunkies are an excellent meat free alternative to these and a great alternative to other snacks.

Ideal for the health food market but also presented in packaging to suit mainstream consumers who put the flavour before the healthy advantages of Chunkies.
